Energex Energy Saving Controls = Automatic Cost Savings

Energex develops sensor-based HVAC and lighting energy management applications. Using infrared occupancy sensing with logic-control software, the system switches to “conservation” mode when no occupancy is detected for a pre-programmed period.  Room temperature is restored within five to eight minutes when occupancy is re-detected. HVAC and lighting costs may be reduced by as much as 45%, while contributing to increased equipment life and noise reduction.

Using smart people-sensing technology, Energex occupancy sensors know when a room in your building is empty for longer than a pre-set period.  Once triggered, the energy saving controls switch into power saving mode until motion returns – reducing energy consumption, lowering equipment wear and tear as well as your utility bill.  Your tenants and guests will also enjoy enhanced comfort due to improved controls.

How Energex Works

Our Advanced PIR and Ultrasonic occupancy sensors seamlessly expand from a stand-alone, low-cost energy management system to include unlimited control possibilities. The systems quickly scales up to include lighting controls, remote management, load shedding, wireless applications including WiFi, Zigbee  and ISM band compatible access modules. Energex also features  full interface to any Property Management Software (PMS) and Building Automation Systems (BAS).

Average Energy Consumption by End Use

Energy ConsumptionHeating and Cooling is one of the largest operating costs of total energy consumption in nearly all buildings. This is no exception in Hotels where waste is considerably more prevalent. As although guests are away from their rooms more than 50% of the time, they frequently if not always leave utilities running in their absence. Our system incorporates an economical solution, which automatically place the HVAC system in a more energy efficient level when guest rooms are empty.
